    Day 1 - Arrival Delhi

After completing immigration and custom formalities you will be met by your local guide who will escort you to a waiting vehicle for your transfer to the your hotel. Depending upon your time of arrival, we will plan your day accordingly.

    Day 2 - Delhi

This morning visit Old Delhi, which is a striking contrast to New Delhi. Here are very narrow streets with unregulated traffic of all kinds (where might is always right). The Red Fort, built when the Mughal (Muslim) architecture was at its peak, is surrounded by a 2 km red sandstone wall and houses several splendid buildings. Visit Chandini chowk, and India Gate (war memorial).
Later, in New Delhi, visit the Humayun's Tomb and Qutab Minar.

Day 3 - Delhi to Agra

At the agreed upon time be ready in the lobby the Hotel in preparation for your overland drive to Agra. The drive takes approximately 4 - 5 hours. At the time of the Mughals, in the 16th & 17th centuries, Agra was the capital of the grand Mughal Empire. During this period the city became a leading centre of art, science, commerce and culture.
Today balance the remaining day at leisure. In the evening you will be taken to the Taj Mahal to experience the sunset at the Taj.

    Day 4 - Agra

This morning, travel to the Taj Mahal to enjoy sunrise. The Taj Mahal is one of the most extravagant monuments in the world, built by an emperor in the found memory of his queen.
Later visit the massive Agra Fort. From the fort enjoy awesome views of the Taj Mahal. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles - a contrast to the unique Mughal style that emerged during this period.

Day 5 - Agra / Bharatpur/ Sawai Madhopur to Ranthambore

This morning, be ready in the lobby of Trident Hotel in preparation for your drive to Bharatpur. The drive takes approximately 1 hour. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri (a hilltop ghost fortress and site of the mausoleum of Salim Chistis, a medieval Muslim saint). Also visit the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. The Keoladeo National Park or Keoladeo Ghana National Park formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Rajasthan, is a famous avifauna sanctuary.
Ranthambore is hailed as one of Indias finest wildlife destinations. Deemed a sanctuary after independence, Ranthambore was granted park status in 1972, as part of Project Tiger. The park derives its name from the 11th century fort of Ranthambore, which still sits on a rocky outcrop in the forest. The fort was a vital citadel for the control of central India. Keep the remaining day at rest!

    Day 6 - Ranthambore

At 5:45 AM depart hotel and travel to the park for a morning viewing. The best time for sighting animals are early morning and late afternoon. The park is closed from 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Midday will be at leisure to relax and enjoy the resort and the exotic surrounding.

Day 7 - Ranthambore to Jaipur

At 5:45 AM depart hotel and travel to the park for a morning viewing. Return to the hotel for breakfast. At approximately 10:00 AM depart the hotel for Jaipur, the land of the Rajahs. The 144kms drive takes approximately takes 2 3 hours. Jaipur was the capital of Rajasthan province. Everywhere you will see the monuments of its Mughal rulers.

    Day 8 - Jaipur

At 9:00 AM depart hotel and visit Amber Fort, a magnificent example of a Rajput Fort building at its best. Fortified by hills and a succession of gates, the fort was a perfect capital for the Kuchwaha Rajputs from the 11th to the 18th centuries. Visit the gardens and the marble rooms, which are cooled by water pouring through fine perforations in the center of the wall. This low-tech air conditioning was highly effective and easy to use. As you move between the rooms of this magnificent structure feel the history and visualize the pomp and grandeur of a kingdom never conquered.
This afternoon visit the City Palace, home to an impressive collection of traditional Rajasthai and Mughal artwork, jewels, textiles and arms; Jantar Mantar; and the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, a tall facade of almost one thousand windows, behind which royal ladies once took the air in privacy.

Day 9 - Jaipur to Alwar

At approximately 9:00 AM be ready in the lobby of your hotel for your overland journey to Alwar. Take an evening safari at Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. Keep the remaining day at leisure.

Day 10 Alwar to Delhi / Departure

After a morning safari at Sariska, be prepared for your overland journey to Delhi, from where you will go to your further destination.
