Ms. Elspeth Plant & Family
Dear Alluring India Team
I travelled to India with my two sons and daughter in August this year. When I first decided on this trip, I was at a lost as to who to approach or how to go about organising the trip and being able to do everything I had on my list. I was given Deepak's details and contacted him explaining how I wanted to go to North and South India and on to Goa.
I wanted to cover off the golden triangle but also the backwaters in Alleppey. Deepak and his team created an imaginative and extensive itinerary for me, to cover my historical passion but also to give a few fun things for the teenagers too. From a horse carriage at dawn to the Taj Mahal, to an elephant ride up to the Amber Fort in Jaipur to Rickshaw rides round Old Delhi, we saw India in a creative and different way. Our tour bus was a haven of air conditioning, with unlimited snacks and drinks, with a driver which made us feel safe in the crazy Delhi traffic.
Our tour guide Vikram was incredible. His extensive knowledge and ability to impart the history in such a way that he could engage the teenagers too, was no less than an art, a truly gifted story teller. On the day that I was unwell and despite the fact it was Vikram's time off, he took the children to the Elephant Camp, so that I could rest. Nothing was too much for him. When travelling to the South we were dropped at the airport on time and collected at the other end without fuss. Whilst the hotels were not always up to standard, through no fault of Alluring India, I hasten to add, Deepak was always on hand to ensure that things were sorted out for us, to ensure our comfort at all times.
If you want to do a tour in India, there really is only one company to use, I will definitely be using them again and have already passed on their details to numerous friends. Well Done Deepak and Colleagues and see you soon.
